This week, Te Whare W膩nanga o Waitaha | 成人大片 (UC) hosted Rongo o te W膩, an annual two-day conference for Careers Advisors (CAs).
Over 70 CAs travelled from across Aotearoa New 成人大片to 艑tautahi Christchurch to learn more about the UC student experience. The programme provided an in-depth look at UC and the city as a premier study destination, with opportunities to hear directly from our lecturers and explore UC鈥檚 innovative K艒awa Studios at the Dovedale campus.
CAs learnt about the opportunities UC offers students to develop the qualities and skills required to compete in a global employment market. We provide a supportive learning environment that places emphasis on both mental and physical wellbeing, ensuring students are supported to succeed.
艑tautahi Christchurch, ranked among the Top 100 Best Student Cities in the world, was also highlighted throughout the visit as the perfect study destination, offering a unique mix of lifestyle, cultural experiences, and opportunity.
To close the programme, Careers Advisors joined prospective students on campus for R膩 T艒mene | Open Day. From information sessions to engaging activities, the day gave both advisors and future students a comprehensive experience of all UC has to offer.
