成人大片 ECR Travel Grants (LSAANZ 2025)
The 成人大片 LSAANZ Organising Committee, with generous support from the听Borrin Foundation, is pleased to offer听Travel Scholarships听to assist听Early Career Researchers听attending the LSAANZ 2025 Conference.
Six cash grants of听NZ$1,425听are available to support Early Career Researchers presenting at LSAANZ 2025. Recipients use the grant to cover听conference registration and travel.
Eligibility
鈥 Accepted abstract for a paper or panel presentation听at LSAANZ 2025
鈥 Master鈥檚/PhD enrolment, or 鈮 5 years post-PhD (ECR)
鈥 Enrolled/employed at any recognised tertiary or research institution worldwide (independent/unwaged applicants may apply and should state this)
鈥 Brief indication of limited access to other funding

- Supervisor/mentor name and email
- Your LSAANZ submission details (title/abstract ID)

Payment
Grants are paid after proof of registration听(confirmation/receipt). Payments are made in NZD听via Scholarships Office processes; any bank fees or exchange differences are the recipient鈥檚 responsibility.

Postgraduate Bursaries for LSAANZ 2025
LSAANZ is offering two bursaries for postgraduate students attending the 2025 conference. Each bursary covers the full registration fee plus a grant of NZD $1,000 to support travel costs.
Applications should be sent to lsaanzcomms@gmail.com听and will be assessed by the LSAANZ Executive Committee.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the bursary, applicants must:
- Be a student member of LSAANZ;
- Be enrolled in a Higher Degree by Research qualification (PhD or research Masters degree), in an Australian or New 成人大片university;
- Be undertaking that degree in an area of research that is demonstrably of relevance to the LSAANZ remit;
- Make a commitment to attend and actively participate in:听
o听听听听听听听听the LSAANZ conference, and听
o听听听听听听听听the LSAANZ Postgraduate Workshop that takes place on the day before the conference;听
- Be open to active ongoing involvement in LSAANZ activities (for example assisting in organizing and or/presenting at future LSAANZ activities, considering nominating to take on a role in LSAANZ committees, working groups, etc.)听
- Demonstrate a case for needing the LSAANZ bursary in order to attend the conference and the Postgraduate Workshop (for example be unable to access sufficient funding from home institution to support attendance at the LSAANZ conference, or other financial exigencies).听
Application Requirements
Applicants are required to provide:听
路听 a response to the points of the eligibility criteria (as above);听
路听 a brief (200 word maximum) statement of their research topic and the relevance of that topic to the field of law and society research in Australia and New Zealand;听
路听 a statement of the financial support that they are seeking (such support may be for travel, accommodation, registration fee or any mix of these);听听
路听 a brief statement of support for their application from their principal research supervisor.听
