We are excited to join with the Students from Ara Te P奴kenga and SIT to provide a massage clinic at the RecCentre for their practice hours.
How it works
- Visit our app to听book your appointment OR call Reception.
- Upon arrival to the RecCentre, check in at the reception counter, our staff will direct you to our waiting room.
- Take a seat and the therapist will be with you and guide you through the rest (consultation, clothing and so on).
- Check out Massage New Zealand's advice on听.
- If you show any signs of being听UNWELL听you听MUST听rebook or cancel your massage via the app or by calling us. Cancellations made withing 2-hours of the appointment start time will be charged.
- There are 15 minutes in-between appointments to allow for the cleaning and sanitising of the massage room.

- Or book through reception听contact us.
- Payment is required before your session begins.
- No-shows will be charged or may be prevented from making future online bookings. You will be able to reschedule or cancel your appointment up to 2 hours prior. 2 hours before your appointment your booking becomes locked and can no longer be changed. 24 hours notice of cancellation is preferred.

Graduate Therapists
- They can offer:听Relaxation, Therapeutic or Sports massage
- These therapists have become fully qualified with a Level 6 Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy.
- You pay one set price, regardless of what kind of massage you ask for.听
Level 6 Therapist听
- They can offer: Relaxation massage and Therapeutic Massage
- These therapists currently hold a Level 5 Diploma in Wellness & Relaxation Massage. They are currently studying towards a Level 6 Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy.
- You pay one set price, regardless of what kind of massage you ask for.听 听听
Level 5 Therapist
- They can offer: Relaxation Massage
- These therapists are currently studying in their first year towards a Level 5 Diploma in Wellness & Relaxation Massage.
- They are currently in-training and are learning the skills and techniques of wellness & relaxation massage.
Extra Information
- Southern Cross Medical Insurance holders - check your policy!听 You may qualify to claim back the cost of up to five massages per annum when booking with a qualified level 6 therapist.
- Our Graduate Therapists听became fully qualified at the beginning of the year with a Level 6 Diploma in Remedial Therapeutic Massage and registered with Massage New Zealand. Graduated Therapists are able to offer all three diciplines within the scope of practice for MNZ. Sports, Therapeutic and Relaxation. They can offer clinical assessment and referrals to our in-house physiotherapists at You First Physio or our Personal Trainers at the RecCentre, plus support your rehabiliation from injury and sport related issues.
